Till to center of the nineties TOTAL concentrates his product and service range up the

• selling of portable and mobile fire extinguishers, fire-brigade-technical/industrial safety-technical commodities and extinguishing components for fire-fighting vehicles,
• the maintenance of fire extinguishers and wall fire-hydrants.

In the course of the conversion from a dealer distributing organization to a direct sale organization by additional purchase and integration of existing subsidiaries since 1990, the range of fire protection-technical services was developed to one of the main business fields. Today TOTAL is a service-oriented enterprise with a high turnover portion of fire protection-technical services.

Apart from the conventional service extent, TOTAL and NEUHAUS offers meanwhile country-wide the maintenance of smoke and heat ventilation
systems. In this the maintenance of portable and mobile fire extinguishers are as well as wall fire-hydrants typical fields of TOTAL´s service line.

The production of escape and emergency route plans, the support of protection training and seminars as well as the training of fire protection managers in the company-owned training center completes today the service program of the
German group.

By the introduction of the design and technology trend-setting ISOGARD fire extinguisher at the end of of 1998 an important milestone was set. Maximum
extinguishing achievement as well as an user-friendly operating technology make a clear differentiation to competitor's products.

TOTAL ist the only German enterprise which supplies for national and international aviation manufactures cab fire extinguishers in accordance with the extremely high requirements of the Federal German Administration of
Aviation.

Further special products are offered to the technical medicine among other things for the fight against metal fires, extinguisher for the chemical industry, the mining industry and so far.

Apart from the mobile fire protection the German group has since 1999 begun with individual fire protection solutions for the stationary area. Thus the protection of sensitive areas and particularly important mechanisms
is ensured. The increasing automation of high-sensitive production plants, sensitive research and development mechanisms (laboratories, chip production, medical/chemical production) as well as developments in
telecommunications and the computer area show for this an increasing need.

The offer covers the project engineering and establishment of special fire extinguishing systems with the extinguishants carbon dioxide, FM 200 as well
as powder and foam.

By assumption the NEUHAUS Feuerlöschgeräte GmbH in the year 1998 the TOTAL-group has additional competence within the range of the object equipment of new buildings with wall hydrants (fire fighting water technology). Parallel thereby the equipment with fire extinguishers takes place. After equipment of the objects the maintenance of the devices is likewise offered and accomplished. An own project team provides escape and emergency route plans.

The markets in west and eastern Europe including Scandinavia are surfaced by different selling ways and different product ranges. For airport special fire fighting vehicles TOTAL offers planning, manufacturing and the selling of user-specific components.
