In view of the amassment of forest and area conflagrations in Germany and the continuous weather conditions the fire-brigades ask seriously for watchfulness and caution in forests, moorland and heath, on fields and grass surfaces. In particular they refer again to the absolute prohibition of smoking in forests. Discovered fires should be announced immediately over the European-wide emergency call number 112.
