With a fire-fighting system from TOTAL you acquires an individual solution for your fire protection problem. TOTAL fire-fighting systems are individual installed fire-extinguishing systems, which give acoustic and optical alarm in the case of fire and promptly react with starting extinguish a fire within seconds. The success of fast fire-fighting process depends on an early and optimal recognition of the fire.

For this TOTAL uses detectors, which react to flames, temperature and smoke. These alarm units already recognize the fire in its developing phase and pass immediately a trigger impulse on to the fire extinguishing system. All fire extinguishing systems can be released both automatically and manually.

Protection from fat fires

for ignited fat offers a special developed fire extinguishing agent, which as fine spraying jet is applied to TOTAL and thus the fire by a closed foam cover suffocated and which fat overheated strongly cools down. The danger of the backfire is substantially reduced. Both control as well as extinguishing agent containers and propulsion gas bottle are installed in a high-grade steel cabinet. By the compact building method the extinguishing system could be integrated in almost each device. The fire-fighting system is modular developed and can be adapted by extensions to any Size of an device.

Powder fire extinguishing systems
